Founded in 2015, Reviving Minds is to be the focal point of a comprehensive community health system that responds to the mental healthcare needs of our service area residents. Reviving Minds provides high quality, reliable healthcare services to clients within the community. Reviving Minds was established to bridge the gap in services that are available to assist individuals who are in need of mental healthcare. Suicide is a major public health concern. Every year in the United States, more than 36,000 individuals die by suicide, hundreds of thousands attempt suicide, and millions of friends and loved ones are affected. Kela reports the stigmas associated with suicide and homicidal ideation is part of the stigma attached to mental health issues of any kind. Currently, Kela works closely with individuals who have mental illness, hoping to make a difference, while saving lives.
